We had our wedding at CEI and it was truly a magical day thanks to the amazing staff. Cathi and Becca were especially helpful in making our day stress-free, and Yani was great at assisting with the rooms. The food was delicious and the grounds provided beautiful opportunities for photos. The staff was very accommodating to our large wedding party. Overall, we give the rooms and service a perfect 5-star rating.

Our granddaughter recently had her wedding at this venue over the weekend. The grounds were beautiful and the wedding was lovely. The food was very good. However, I must mention that the rooms were overpriced. Our room, which cost over $300 a night, had cheap toiletries, no tissues, and bedsheets that were over-scented with dryer sheets. There was not even a complimentary bottle of water in the room. We encountered issues with the bathtub and TV, as well as difficulty opening the dresser drawers. The lack of attention to detail was very apparent. Overall, the rooms were overpriced and did not meet our expectations. On a positive note, there is a nice brewery located about 10 minutes away for nearby activities. The safety and walkability of the area were good. As for the food and drinks, we only had the wedding food which was very good. In conclusion, the lack of attention to detail in the rooms was a notable issue during our stay.

We had a wonderful weekend here as wedding. We stayed in the inn. Breakfast was delicious and easy. The grounds were beautiful— what a magical lovely place for weddings! Highly recommend Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5

0 star rating for staff for Oct 2022 wedding. As mother-in-law, I was there from the tour to the morning after the wedding. The sales lady who gave tour was great. I wonder if they follow up to see the end result. We questioned the bad reviews about communication and was assured it was under new ownership and there would be no problems. Not only didn’t anyone answer the phone countless times, messages were not returned. Even though there were 2 different forms for guest meal choices, the food ran out. 13 people were given pasta with spaghetti sauce. It was SO embarrassing. Plus the wedding coordinator disappeared after 30 minutes into the reception so she wasn’t there to help with the meal issue. I don’t even know if she was told about it afterward. No, we weren’t given any money back for the meals paid for that didn’t exist. Because my name wasn’t on the contract, Knot didn’t let me leave a review. I trusted the sales people that staff was better but NOT. The trays with dirty dishes were never removed so they are in the background of all reception pictures. NO one was there to help with the after-party which they charged way too much money for. No one was there to serve the beer we had to purchase through them. Hmm where was the server I paid for? The breakfast was not up to par for a bed and breakfast inn. We had two choices for a box-type horrible cheap breakfast. Embarrassing for my guests.
