El Azteca - Mount Laurel

I have read many other reviews, and I have to say it's like experiencing two different restaurants. The decor feels outdated, and the service leaves much to be desired, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, thanks to my girlfriend who recommended the place. The food was absolutely delicious—not greasy at all—and the portions were quite generous. If you enjoy spicy food, be sure to ask for the HOT sauce! We considered it homemade. I might not know much, but I definitely know good hot sauce; it was excellent! The food was served promptly and at the right temperature, all for $36. We will definitely be returning!

The portion sizes are generous, and they don't hold back on the delicious food. Everything we tried was well-seasoned, with tender meats and perfectly crispy items. I especially loved the street tacos, which came with four—yes, four—corn tortillas filled with meat, cilantro, and onions. However, I do think the table salsa could be improved with a thicker consistency and a little more cilantro. We also ordered a queen with ground beef, which was quite unexpected; we assume there was a miscommunication with our order. Overall, we really want to return—multiple times!
