I stopped this morning at 7:30 and the place was a ghost town, I was the first person to come and they opened 30 minutes ago. I sat at the counter and was greeted by a waitress who was hearty and sweet. I searched the menu and a cup of coffee that was remarkable for Diner coffee. I ordered the full Sage Slam, which is a take on Denny's breakfast, but still good. The pancakes were perfectly sufficient, and the over simple eggs were more about medium, which I didn't do so much with a button down. I'll say the bacon and sausage were perfect! Only a note, they are in construction, so from outside it can look as if they were closed. 7/10, would go again.
With me, a service dog that came in here was nice people. The food was great and they gave Daisy bananas cut for them. Thank you, Sage Diner. That was my first time. If you go in them, they have steps plus a ramp on both sides that I had never seen in my life.
Breakfast, eggs, bacon, pork and toast was great. However, Toast was soggy of too much butter. The waitress let the coffee refills come. And she was pleasant. Desserts looked like dying. I was told that the desserts were made in the house.
Our waitress was pleasant and prompt with the food. We had breakfast and really enjoyed our choices. Our waitress even brought boxes before we said anything! So great! My only disappointment was because our waitress did not ask us if we wanted another cup of coffee or tea! However I would still go back! They have a wide variety of meals to satisfy anyone!
A good surprise. It was rated lower than Cracker Barrell, but we like local places. It's a bit rough looking on the outside, but is under new management and apparently about to be renovated. We had a standard eggs, 4! pieces of sausage, and and hash browns, and a bagel with whitefish on a toasted bagel and a surprising garnier including a surprising hard boiled egg. Totally enjoyable. And, the coffee comes in heavy smallish mugs. Hint, it stays hotter longer. Inexpensive. Try it.
