I had heard that they make the best cheese scones, and they definitely lived up to the hype. It was the best cheese scone I’ve ever tasted—so cheesy and salty! It had a crispy exterior while being soft and moist on the inside, making it easy to enjoy without any discomfort while swallowing. The blackberry dark chocolate friand was incredible as well; it was wonderfully spongy, and the cream was delightful—not too sweet and rich with berry flavor.

I visited the café hoping to grab a gluten-free muffin, but unfortunately, they were sold out. However, a woman kindly checked with the bakers, who offered to frost one for me. I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture! I also had a cup of coffee, which was excellent, and a hot chocolate. My husband, who is quite the connoisseur when it comes to hot chocolate, said it was very good as well. It was lovely to sit in the sun, overlooking the park and listening to the birds chirping. The cakes on display looked fantastic, and since my birthday is coming up, I'm really hoping my hints to my husband will pay off!
