We sat down, the only ones in the place at around 5:30pm, and were offered the leftover lunch bar, which we declined. We noted that the place offered everything from Mexican to Italian, and whatever else in between, all in the ambiance of an old ice cream parlor that had gone out of business. Our water was poured while the 'waiter ' was wearing non-latex gloves, which was a little weird, but, ok. We then placed our order off the menu. We did not see our 'waiter ' again for 20 minutes, when he brought my daughter 's 'meal '. She had ordered a bean taco with rice and beans on the side. She got some refried beans wrapped in a tortilla with southern style pork n beans and old cold white rice from the lunch bar. No one else was served for 15 more minutes, when the 'waiter ' returned asking 'who ordered the burrito? ' Unfortunately, none of us had ordered a burrito. We reminded the guy that we ordered enchiladas, at which point he asked what those were, and offered to allow us into the back so we could show him how to make it. I AM NOT LYING HERE, although I am well aware that this stretches the limits of belief. So, about an hour after arriving, I left 5 bucks to cover my daughter 's cold rice, and we rolled off into the sunset to find something to actually eat. What I can say, is that the mention of Johnny Rincon 's Restaurant Delicioso has turned into a great family joke that sends peals of laughter through the car when we mention it. Thanks Johnny!
