Gala Cafe Bakery - Mount Pleasant

We had mini desserts from Gala for our wedding, and they were a huge success! I've never seen an entire dessert table disappear so quickly, with everyone raving about how delicious they were! We also stopped by with our grandparents for coffee and sandwiches, and the service and food were fantastic then as well. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Awesome little cafe ! I would totally recommend it to any Charleston residents and tourists ! If you are ever hungry this is the place to come and bring your dogs ! Totally awesome staff and food!

This place is so cute! They have a decent menu for a little cafe and a huge selection of fresh desserts, I didn't try any but definitely plan on going back for them! The oatmilk latte was great, and the brown sugar syrup was delicious.

I had heard about this restaurant and decided to give it a try, but I was quite let down by the food. The sandwich I ordered tasted stale, which was disappointing, especially since it cost $11. I don't want to come off as overly critical, but I expected more for that price. On a positive note, the cannoli was quite tasty. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, with outdoor seating available. They also offer a variety of desserts like cakes, cookies, and cheesecakes. I would definitely recommend visiting for the desserts!

I moved to Mount Pleasant 6 months ago and i've been looking for the best coffee place since, trying every other spot. For me, this is THE place! It's got everything : excellent coffee and food (at a decent price , kindest staff and beautiful setting both inside and outside. Quiet enough to get some work done, hang out with friends or even with kids (they'll love the pasteries... .
