Mardi Gras Seafood - Mount Pleasant

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent! Coming from the Gulf Coast, I have high standards for seafood, and this is the best I've had since being in Northeast Texas.

The restaurant consistently brings the wrong order and then insults customers when they point it out. This has happened three times now. Would you want to go back? On top of that, I had to request utensils for the food I actually received.

Early dinner, 5pm on Friday evening. Super nice wait staff. Clean restaurant. The meal looked and tasted okay, but like regular home cooking. The corn on the cob was flat, not juicy. The cajun pineapple chicken breast was small and oddly shaped. I washungry so I ate. The wait staff was terrific, food not so much.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. I enjoy dining here, and my friends who recommended this local gem made a fantastic suggestion. I can't wait to eat here again. While the wait staff could be a bit friendlier, overall it is a fantastic place to be. I would give it ten stars if I could. The cocktails are also great. Kudos to the chefs and bar staff for providing an awesome dining experience. Thank you!

I don 't normally put out negative reviews on restaurants but, we went to Mardi Gras Seafood tonight and it was atrocious!!!!!! Wife and I got 5 lbs of crawfish and 2 pounds of Shrimp to share. Other couple with usgot the same. The food itself was underseasoned, terribly overcooked and just DIRTY!!! Like literally still caked with mud on the bellies. Normally when we do crawfish20-30lbs easy. We didn 't even really make a dent in the first order. We told the cashier, and got an I 'm sorry . By the time wegot home 2 out of 4 of us had puked with the rest of us not far behind. Called the manager and he said he 'd look into it. Butnot hard to see why they got a B almost a C on their health inspection!!!!!!!!! The beer and margarita were good though.
