After taking it home and cooking it….. boy oh boy.. what quality.. my new place to get steaks for sure.
Love their weekly specials excellent quality. Get it out of their refrigerator, add a salad and fresh bread. Only big disappointment was their adding a “tip” feature to the checkout. I do this all myself, just like at Publix or Harris Teeter. It’s asking a lot, in todays economy, to tip a checkout person. Circle K, etc.. yesterday my “suggested tip” was $10 on a $40 takeout order. Really??? They just lost a long time customer.
They lost my business forever!I have been a patron here for over 8 years because of the quality and service. But I will not be returning after my last experience….I arrived just after 5pm on a Wednesday evening. I browsed the case and nothing stood out. However there was an uncut Prime Bone-in ribeye in the case…I asked for 2x 1.25lb steaks. The butcher looked at me disgusted, asking if I wanted a huge tomahawk. I said, no just 2 regular bone in rib-eyes. He said he already cleaned the saw and refused to cut us our requested cuts….They were not getting ready to close…This is a custom expensive prime butcher shop that refused to cut meat!!Horrible service, terrible attitudes by the butcher and staff. You have lost my business forever. Publix would have cut my steaks for me any time of the day for half the price!!
Best steaks in town hands down! Their pre made meals are awesome too. Spend the extra bucks and get a wagyu ribeye. Highly recommend! Thanks again guys!
Well, I've been jonesing for a good corned beef sandwich for a while.... After a mishap at another establishment, I found the shop on DI made them on fabulous rye bread! It was nice and lean, good flavor and they didn't skimp on the meat! No, it's not as big as Carnegie's in NYC but you were full after finishing!! Only thing lacking was that it was not heated but served cold Give it a try if you're a damn Yankee looking for a great sandwich (moderate priced also). Next find a bagel shop and a bakery that makes bread!!
