Starbucks - Mount Pleasant

This delightful independent restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. It is clean and roomy, and the staff is warm and friendly.

I would give it 9.9 stars today. The line moved quickly, and the barista at the window was truly outstanding at her job!

The restaurant is conveniently situated, and although the drive-thru often appears busy, the line generally moves at a good pace. The employees at the takeout window are friendly and attentive, always taking a moment to express their gratitude. Parking can be somewhat tricky, but just follow the signs. The highlight is that you're just a short drive away from Shem Creek Harbor. So, grab your coffee and make your way to the harbor to enjoy the beautiful views, watch the seagulls, and savor your drink.

I paid $7 for a grande latte that was not filled properly, and I even paid extra for whipped cream that they did not add. The staff could benefit from some additional training. Overall, the level of service does not reflect the price.

This Starbucks location is disappointing. They frequently ignore requests and tend to overly sweeten drinks, even when customers specifically ask for less sweetness. I ended up pouring an expensive drink down the drain because it was undrinkable.
