I always feel like I want to give Texas another chance. Partly because I hear good things and it’s also the only steak house around, I believe. Most of the time the servers are friendly and always apologetic because food always takes a while to get to the table and because it’s never cooked correctly. Steaks area always raw with a gray ring around the center of the steak. I order medium rare, as most do, I would assume that’s something that would be easy to do but I’m afraid we all know what assumptions make out of everyone involved. Also all the fried food is so oily. The Texas blossom onion is sooo oily and it taste so vial. The foods taste on the other hand is always so odd. I’m not sure what it is but everything is so bland or it has a weird taste that stays lingering in the mouth. The only thing I’d come back for is the bread. The environment it’s self isn’t too bad other than the announcements. My 1 year old definitely wasn't a fan of how loud they got in front of our table because they had a couple birthdays around us last time we visited. He was very visible and it clearly upset him and the same waitress came back and didn’t seem to care enough to take a couple steps away from our table. I think I’m gonna give up on the idea of going to Texas.
