The Gingko Tree Inn - Mount Pleasant

Upon our arrival, the host was enjoying a lovely evening on the veranda while watching her daughter play in the yard. Our bed was so comfortable that our son, who typically wakes up with the sun, ended up sleeping in longer than usual. When we made our way to breakfast, we were greeted by a delightful first course of vanilla yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, and some delicious sweet breads. The second course was a frittata accompanied by sweet potatoes and bacon. Every dish was not only delicious but filling as well. Even better than the food was our host, who connected wonderfully with our son after he finished his breakfast. While we continued to eat, she listened to his stories, read a magazine with him, and even danced with him. He felt so at ease that he snuggled up to her while she read. I think we all would have loved to spend the entire day talking and playing together. The Ginkgo Tree Inn proved to be the perfect stop to break up our eight-hour drive from Dayton, Ohio, to Mackinac Island, Michigan. We will definitely keep it in mind for our future trips to Michigan!

I had always wanted to stay here while in Central, and I wasn't disappointed. The place is beautiful and just a short walk from everything in the center. The breakfast was fantastic as well. I would definitely stay here again!
