Salsa Street - Mount Prospect

My brother treated me to dinner today. Tacos were delicious. I ordered the taco trio platter. It came with rice and black beans. I loved the citrus shrimp taco and relleno taco. Chicken tinga was just not my taste. I will be visiting them again. Thank you.

The food was amazing. We began with fresh chips and salsa, which were delightful. The tacos were exceptional, but my absolute favorite was the churros with ice cream. I will definitely return!

The food was absolutely fantastic! Every dish we tried was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken burrito, and we both thought it was great! I opted for the Al Pastor taco, which was recommended by our server, and they were spot on! It was incredible! I particularly enjoyed the pineapple topping, which added a delightful sweetness. The portions were quite generous, so I wasn't able to finish my meal. I really wish there was one closer to us in Milwaukee. We will definitely return when we're in the area again!

I sampled five different tacos from this place, and the chicken tacos were definitely my favorite. I wasn't a fan of the citrus-marinated steak taco or the bland fried fish taco. If you're ordering here, I'd recommend sticking with the chicken. I also tried a side of cilantro rice and black beans, which had a unique twist compared to the typical Mexican rice and beans. While this style isn't my preference, it was still enjoyable. Overall, we would return to try more items on the menu.
