Great to see the excellent reviews of Iron Rail, nee Shine's (my grandfather, Richard Uhl built this following WWII). I have memories of many childhood visits when my grandmother (Hazel Uhl) made memorable pies and hamburgers in the kitchen...5+ history as

Hot food and fast delivery very nice people and the cakes are great cheese steak and fries are hot and delicious delicious

It was not fancy, but the food was good. The service was good. I will go there again.

The Iron Rail diner is fantastic. Great food and good prices. All of there specials should be tried and not much more expensive than a fast food meal. if you are in the area or passing through this is a place you need to try.

Great stop for lunch while on the GAP. Food is fresh cooked and still served at pre Biden prices. Less than 5 minutes from the GAP at Patty Baker Road and 10 minutes back to the GAP from town.
