Woodnotes Grille at Emerson Resort & Spa

We got a last minute reservation at Woodnotes on a Friday nightFrom the moment we stepped into the establishment, the experience was exceptional.

When all else fails up in the mountains during a major Holiday, count on Woodnotes Grille- Emerson Resort & Spa's restaurant with a modern design inside;

I don't remember Woodnotes Grille in great detail, but I definitely had a good time here.

The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!

I love this place! Your salsa is excellent and the mole is wonderful too. I eat here every time I am in Laguna Beach.
