Southside Diner - Mount Vernon

This diner is a true gem. We had biked the Kokosing Gap Trail with extensions for a total 54 miles roundtrip and wanted to get a bite before heading home. The atmosphere was fun with all the interesting objects on the walls. Our waitress was stellar! She had wonderful suggestions, a terrific personality, and was accurate and efficient with our ordering and service. The food was delicious!! We were extremely hungry so it was difficult to not gobble it down, but it deserved time to savor. Make sure to get a slice of their cheesecake (we chose the carmel! or pick up some chocolate from the counter displays. YouTube @travlinfam
