Catalyst Coffee - Mount Wellington

I love their filter coffee! The white coffee was also as great as the filter one. Ambience was nice and clean. I loved how the staff were answering all my random questions which might have been bothering! Hahah nice people.

Great food. Great service. Great environment.Was said to have the best coffee in Auckland so I came in to try. I was not disappointed.Also tried their French Toast. It had ham and cheese in it. Perfect combination for toast.Would visit again for coffee and to try their other cabinet food :

Beautiful place to drop by drinks and snacks. While it specialises in coffee, Catalyst also offers interesting teas and hot chocolates. All the ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and artfully served.

Bookmarked this place to visit when I was searching for places that do proper coffees. This coffee shop is hidden behind the main Remuera road nice quiet spot and ambience. When we walked in we were greeted by the owners/baristas who were very friendly and helpful. The coffee and service was great and ambience was very nice : They have different coffee beans featured for the pour overs every month. I think it'll be my place to visit monthly now!

This is a place to enjoy your coffee.  It 's the coffee that shines...not the food (but the counter patisseries are excellent! .  The two owners (whose names I have forgotten...sorry!! are champion Baristas and it is a delight to visit here to watch them at work.  This was my second visit.  I told my 'In laws ' and while the art of coffee is not their thing they loved it.  My mother in law tried a special tea that was in stock and she reported how lovely it is.  It is worth going out of your way to stop off here.  It 's a treat.
