Krekel's Custard - Mount Zion

Krekel is amazing. The lemon ice cream is orgasm. Their only mistake is that they are closed on Sundays.

I love Krekels. to say something else is almost blasphemy. but I was in the promise of the great burgers my friends. and while crochets is near the top of the hill, you do not have a perfect burger until you took the short trip to Hammond and was to scooters! the same type of burgers, but better. Trust me, krekel's burgers are great, but not the best. at least not for me.

I live in Texas. Decatur is my hometown. Krekels is always our first step.

Man, I love this place. The nostalgia of stopping here for a burger never wears off. I've been here for almost 30 years and never once was a little less than stellar. Every time I'm somewhere near Decatur or Mt Zion, I always swing by and grab one of their amazing burgers and a chocolate shake. You know they have the best chocolate shakes, right? Try it!

It was delicious sure and we understand that it isn't a big chain joint. That said, it's a typical mom and pop burger joint at an inflated price. Stars are for the flavor, minus the price.
