Always a great place. Had our wedding dinner there in 1991.Love it
It's been up and down with new ownership over the past years but it's worth a visit if you captured on a good night it's a great place to be
Went to this place many times but went in December of 2019 and it was not very good. I had baked calms casino for an appetizer and OMG, first they didn't cut the clams loose from the shells, then they piled high on top nothing but bread crumbs with butter. When they baked them, the bread crumbs took all the moisture from the clams and the clams were dried out. I had to dig through the tons of bread crumbs to get to the clams. Never ever had clams casino this way, nothing but butter/bread crumbs. For the prices of food there, the food was not worth it!!!! Things came out cold and over cooked and a lot tasted like frozen micorwaved food. Won't go back again.
Our family recently moved to Dorrance Township so we decided to try the Alberdeen Inn for the first time. It is a quiet, old charm house restaurant that is clean, non-smoking, with a warm comfortable feeling to it. Surprised that it wasn’t busy for a Saturday night, but fortunately for our party it was more enjoyable that way. And let me tell you everyone else missed out. Had a drink at the bar before dinner, with a nice variety of wine and a fully stocked bar of alcohol and beer. Afterwards we sat down for dinner. A nice variety of entree options on the menu and we all had a variety of chicken, fish, and steak entrees and an order of Calamari to share for an appetizer. The appetizer was good and everyone’s entree was exceptional. The quality of the proteins was top notch and cooked wonderfully, and the starches and vegetables were fresh and prepared very well. Service was good and the price with drinks was very reasonable. Quit wasting your time and money at the other “finer dinning” places in the area and take a trip to the Alberdeen Inn. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Much better than the restaurants in Drums, and no stuck-up clientele!
