Garden Fresh - Mountain View

I finally visited this restaurant. However, the person taking orders was rather rude. On the bright side, everything on the menu is vegan. Today, I'm trying the vegan Mongolian beef.

This is the best Chinese restaurant! My absolute favorite dish is the Basil Tempura Gobo. It has a nice spiciness, but the basil really shines through. I prefer gobo as a meat substitute since I don’t like the texture or aftertaste of soy meat. I also love the Orange Beef Broccoli; it has wonderful flavors and textures! My daughter enjoys the steamed buns and the crispy Hong Kong noodles. The Kung Pao burdock (gobo) is my son’s favorite! We all like our food medium spicy. While we are not vegan, we think the veggie ribs are fantastic — the rib meat is made from mushrooms and it's amazing! My husband is vegan and loves everything, especially the duck. It’s so great to dine at a place where everyone in the family enjoys the food! If you haven’t tried their incredible burdock (gobo) meat or shiitake mushroom meat, you absolutely should — you’ll be amazed!

Absolutely delicious! Finding quality vegan Chinese food can be challenging, but this restaurant really hit the mark. The atmosphere is small, cozy, and inviting.

An amazing restaurant which serves organic (as much as possible) and it's 100 percent vegan. The number of options on the menu is insane! I love the vegan duck (it's very filling) and the rest of the options are phenomenal as well.

I 've eaten here several times in 2022 and have always been impressed. This is fantastic Chinese food that happens to be vegan. On my first visit, my friend and I were one of 4 tables, with one of the tables being about 8 people. We were amazed and mesmerized that a single woman was able to serve about 14 people at 4 different tables in such a small space with such grace and warmth. On our second visit she remembered us and asked us friendly questions truly a talent in the memory department. Every time my friend and I visit we try different dishes and they are all delicious. Nothing is overcooked nor oily a complaint I have with a lot of fast Chinese food it 's all Garden Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.
