Taqueria Margaritas - Mountain View

I stopped by this little taco place this morning while waiting for my car at the shop, and I’m so glad I did! It's a cozy, unpretentious spot with just a counter and a few tables. I started with the salsa, and I was really impressed. The green salsa was sweet, packed with flavor, and had just the right amount of spiciness. Normally, I’m quite skeptical of places with great salsa, as it often masks mediocre food, but that wasn't the case here! I ordered two tacos—one pollo and one carne asada—and both were outstanding! I can't wait to return and try more items on the menu, but how can I resist getting more tacos?

One of my three favorite taquerias in a 40 mile radius. Outstanding carnitas and al pastor. I have to admit that I only order their super burritos because I can't get enough of them, so I haven't tried other dishes. I love their tomatillo salsa garlicky and delicious.

Wandering in looking for a quick bite to eat. Friendly people, good Carne Taco and cerveza fria. A telenovela was on and within 2 minutes I was hooked. Folks here had no problem telling me why a character locked his lover into a burning house....deep.

Very speedy take away, good for a quick, simple bite. Food: regular taco with asada two soft tortillas, beef was finely chopped with some onions and cilantro $2); it was a bit light on the meat. crunchy taco with pollo tender chicken, with onions cilantro, as well as sour cream, guac, refried beans, and some crumbly cheese $2.50) horchata sweet and tasty Did a take out order, which also included a small brown bag of crunchy tortilla chips and a light green, slightly spicy salsa. Ambiance: It's a takeout place, but there are several tables for seating; and a tv in the corner.

Food was great. Best burrito I have ever tasted. The cashier was very nice and the food came out fast and the tables were very clean and the staff was very nice.
