Feedback gevenThis new fusion restaurant needs a lot of work. My complaint list: Two separate waiters came to take our order (Normally I expect this to be only from cheap Chinese or Vietnamese restuarants, but not a place where the average dish is $12) we ordered Naan, but we had to remind the waiter to bring it after 10 minutes. After our original order came out a second order, further prove the lack of communication between the waiting staff the food was well presented but not much taste
About two weeks ago I went to Castro early Sunday morning when I went through the front window of the temptations. What I saw DISGUSTED me beyond faith. No one had disturbed the last services of the tables in the night before! The two tables facing the window were decorated with chickens, vegetables and sauces, and the tables were in the same untouched condition. Why would I want to visit a restaurant that lacks the basic idea of sanctification? I didn't eat in this restaurant, and based on what I saw, I won't eat there in the near future. Temptations need a visit from Gordon Ramsey, seriously.
The menu is basically half Indian, half Chinese – there is very little actual fusion. However, we thought that maybe we were only new to this type of fusion kitchen and did not see the nuances of the dishes, we asked the waiter what he recommended. He could not recommend anything that was absolutely unhelpful. At the end of the meal, when we asked if we could take the left home, the waiter gave us unobtrusive empty boxes and a plastic bag to grab our own food. I would expect Chili’s, but not at a restaurant that clearly tries to be uplifted. However, I will say that the food we have ordered (butter chicken, eggplant and butter nan) was fantastic, not excessively heavy or oily as some other Indian restaurants. I'd go back.
