This is a sister restaurant for cafe nola in frederick. the waiting staff informed us the owner interested in expanding the vegan selection and that hearing two vegans came and enjoyed eating his day latte with milk was really good, so smooth. miso carbonara was delicious, although quite oily. there had some interesting mushrooms. server informed us that vegan butter was used on the garlic toast. tofu sandwich was light and tasty. the side of the tattoo were very salty and good. had no dessert, but there is apparently a mango sorbet who is vegan. server said that ice is used instead of ice, so everyone can enjoy it. the atmosphere inside was stylish and rustic with large pieces of art, wee everywhere on regal and brick walls. it felt like eating in the inner city of frederick.
I live nearby and was thrilled to hear that the owners of Cafe Nola had purchased and were planning to open a new restaurant. Despite the wait due to Covid, I was not disappointed. I would suggest adding more homemade vegan options, without using Beyond or Impossible products. I highly recommend this restaurant for both vegans and their non-vegan family members.
This restaurant is a sister to Cafe Nola in Frederick. The wait staff told us that the owner is looking to expand the vegan options on the menu, and that having two vegans enjoy their meal would make his day! The latte made with oat milk was really delicious and smooth. The miso carbonara had a great flavor, although it was a bit oily. It had some interesting mushrooms on top. Our server informed us that vegan butter was used on the garlic toast. The tofu sandwich was light and tasty. The tater tots on the side were very salty and tasty. We didn't have dessert, but we were told that there is a vegan mango sorbet available. The server mentioned that it's made with ice instead of ice cream so anyone can enjoy it. The atmosphere inside was classy and rustic, with large art pieces, wine displayed on shelves, and brick walls. It felt like dining in downtown Frederick.
I live nearby and was thrilled to learn that the owners of Cafe Nola had purchased and were planning to open. Despite having to wait during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was not disappointed. The menu at PLEASE offers a wide variety of vegan options that are all homemade, with no Beyond or Impossible products. I highly recommend this restaurant for both vegans and their non-vegan family members.
