It was missing 3 ingredients and when I called I was told they realized that it wasn 't on the receipt because I didn 't pay for it. I guess my thought would have been 'let me call her to get her to pay the literal $2 it probably was to make the pizza that was ordered. ' Shoot, at least give me a heads up that my pizza is going to look naked?? Just disappointed how it was handled. I live within walking distance of this place, so we gave it another go. This time we were told that we couldn 't verbally order to go, we had to call it in. I was literally inside the store and the guy wouldn 't take my order. Just weird vibes from this place, and honestly there are other good pizza places in Mount P. I know friends that have had better luck here, but just not my kind of place.
August 15, 2019 Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) inspectors found rodent droppings in a back room at Baronis Pizza on Ben Sawyer Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, dropping the restaurant to a B according to the inspection report. The report also noted that it was responding to a complaint about the facility. Among the other violations; cold holding temperatures, date marking of ready-to-eat foods, food stored on the floor of the walk-in cooler, organic residue in the chemical dish machine, and a consecutive violation for walls and floor of the cookline having a greasy food particle build-up.
Waited 45 minutes. $38 for a burned Stromboli and a pizza that was burned on the bottom and then folded into a box that was too small. Don't understand how any restaurant lets **** like this out of their kitchen. Total disregard for their customers.
Been loving this place while we've been here in Isle of Palms. So sad to hear you're closing the Mt. Pleasant location!
Overall, not terrible, but not great. Ordered for pickup and 45 minutes later, it was ready, which was ridiculous seeing as there was barely anyone in the restaurant, like 4 people. The flavor was mediocre, and the quality was about par. The crust was boring and had no flavor or quality texture. If you're dead set on local pizza, go downtown to NYC Pizza. Otherwise, a chain would be a better choice, in my opinion.
