On one occasion I got the ricotta and truffle ravioli in a oil, which was nice, but I think the pasta could of been cooked through more. Though I have to say I love there raisin toast. Staff are friendly and service is quick.
I wanted a treat after work yesterday so I stopped by and ordered a chocolate frappe and a chocolate tart to go. <br/ <br/ The friendly server prepared my drink very fast and it was seriously rich and very chocolatey. The tart was also extremely tasty and I already want to go back and taste more if the desserts.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ 5th of November <br/ <br/ I went back to this Shingle Inn for lunch yesterday and ordered a pot of English breakfast, bruschetta and another of the wonderful chocolate and raspberry tart. Everything was wonderful and the service was brisk. I really enjoyed the bruschetta and it was presented very well. When I went in at midday it was pretty busy but I found a nice, quiet table and I only waited a few minutes for my meal.
The staff today went above and beyond to ensure my small daughter's food was gluten free, they were just so kind. The food and coffee was lovely as well thank you Donna and the young trainee for helping us.
Ate there this morning at opening for Breakfast and can't fault the experience. Welcomed when my friend and I walked in, nice service when being delivered the orders and thanked for coming when leaving. Great work to the 2 ladies there at opening :
