Feedback gevenI ordered the daily special—butter mackerel marinated in orange juice with puréed peas, grilled asparagus and cassoulet surrounding it. It was fantastic! My husband ordered the tender spare ribs—they were roasted until the meat fell off with the touch of his fork. We shared the seasonal salad to start and the rich chocolate-salted caramel tarte to finish. The waiter were helpful and friendly— they suggested wines to match which were great. And— in an innovative restaurant, the lighting and music were subdued, and with the quirky collection of antiques on the walls, we were so comfortable to sit for a while enjoying our food and the surroundings. Wow!
We stumbled across Hoiz by accident and it was the happiest of accidents. The Alsace flambé was so incredibly light and crisp, the gnocchi was delicious and my husband rated the entrecôte among his top 5 of all time. Strong recommend!
Mid size restaurant ,casual style,outsude tables available. Close to ity cebter in a rather quiet street. Excellent food and wines at adequate prices. Knowledgeable sommelier. Attentive service,relaxed.
