Especially for hygienic/corona reasons, we did not find it appropriate that, for example, 4 5 persons operate on a sorbet. The quality of the food was excellent but somewhat too little calculated for 8 people. We were very disappointed by the service. Although we initially told the service personnel that 1 person does not want fish, they had to wait about 1 hour until there was something without fish for them. The first 3 courses could only watch them. One person suddenly got no more wine. We had to make it clear that the person didn't like wine any more. I was too loud about the volume in the room. 5 stars for food, but 2 deductions for the service you would have expected differently in a 5 star hotel. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
We were eating at Matsuhisa. After we were there and had to wait for the reception to be placed, we finally got our table next to the Mise en Place from the service. No beautiful sight to spend a romantic evening, apart from the flapping of the empty plates stacked on top of each other, the remains of food on the plates were nicely pressed together to apparently save waste volume. Food waste has also become more expensive. It started with a refreshing cocktail called Ginger Rush and Moscow Mule. I can't say anything about the Mule, the Rush was inconceivably bitter and inconvenient. I didn't drink it and give it back. Since we wanted to spend an unforgettable evening with my wife, we have the lady who was responsible for our table (Elisabet if I don't fool myself), asked us to bring all the food she thought appropriate until we stop saying AND we had hunger. Quality of raw fish was top! From yellowtail to salmon to Otoro. I wish that the fish slices would also come with us at a suitable temperature. I'd hope the Otoro at least at room temperature. All the raw fish were too cold. The menu order unfortunately gave a whole convolut of food with jalapenjosoße, I would say that was unhappyly chosen or the kitchen was glad to finally get the sauce away. A huge disappointment was the spinach salad, which it was impossible to radiate as such, as it was overflowing with, felt, tons of truffle oil. Truffle lovers know exactly what is meant. A drop of truffle oil would be enough to bring in an idea of truffles, from the fresh truffle was no trace. After I take the scepter into my own hands, I asked for the cod... the star of the evening. It made me thankfully at my first visit to the Matsuhisa in Athens over 12 years ago and it was a beautiful memory, as the dessert shined in full chocolate-lady splendour, the Matcha ice cream to it... a pleasure. To conclude: service very nice but to inexperienced ambience moderately food very good to small price performance ratio totally inappropriate. We had an invoice of 575,50€ without tip. For this horrifying sum, I would have liked at least fresh truffles or somewhere some caviar or at least lobster or royal crab. Definitely you can eat much better, more and more high-quality for this money elsewhere. And, unfortunately, for me personally, the biggest disappointment was that the spinach salad was 34, € and the cocktail was 19, € fully calculated even though I had to give it back as they were unthinkable
If you want to take good food with ignorant to non-existent service in the volume of a railway station hall or an Oktoberfest tent, the Matsuhisa is right. Was unfortunately a bad conclusion of a beautiful shopping day! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Pleasant ambience, friendly nice, fast waiters, food quality highest level, prices corresponding to a very pleasant atmosphere for a stylish meal
Excellent kitchen and very, very friendly staff just a NOBU restaurant just one class better. There is always a highlight in Munich. Ingrid Merbt, Heilbronn
