It's very tasty, though. We had an excellent waiter, although I was unsure whether to use my poor Italian, or my poor German, when ordering. We had excellent pizza, salad, dessert, grappa, and espresso. It was a very enjoyable meal.A few nights later, we decided to eat in at the hotel, and ordered some food to take out from Mozzamo. My wife found a weekly specials section of their web site, which the Laimer Hof concierge didn't even know about. One of the specials was a mixed mushroom white pizza with black truffle. It was amazing. I walked there to pick up the food, so I got to see the cook shave the truffle directly onto the pizza after it came out of the oven. We also got a calzone, which was good, although I prefer the calzones that my wife cooks.Overall, I strongly recommend trying Mozzamo if you're in the Nymphenburg area.
Enjoyed a welcome break from German fare at this restaurant. Delicious stove oven pizza, fresh pasta and the best panna cotta. Reservations recommended.
On the 29th of June, 2017, My wife and I along with a friend were trying to hide from a sudden rain shower by going inside this restaurant, it was very busy and the food smelled amazing, so we decided to have food there, only to be told by a waiter that there's really no chance of us getting served if we had no prior reservation. However, I have rarely seen such an organized, beautiful place with such friendly staff despite being as busy as it was that day - with both diners who had reservations and passersby who were trying to get shelter from the rain outside like ourselves. One of the waiters - the same guy who told us we can't be served and whom I can't remember his name - was very attentive, tried to help us out in every way possible, he served our party sparkling wine on the house, we also got served very tasty ravioli samplers - on the house too - which the chef was very keen to know what we thought of them despite being the random tourists who would probably never come back again, and then the same waiter recommended other places for that day, offered to make a reservation for tomorrow, called a cap for us and kept in touch with it to make sure it came quickly for us, and walked us to the car. The smell, the interior, and the nice gestures shown by the staff there are more than enough for me to recommend this place to eat, even though I didn't go through the actual dining experience.
We came here for a dinner because we were a little sick of traditional German food. Our waiter didn't speak any English but by pointing at the menu we got everything we wanted with no issues. I ordered the ravioli in butter and it was great. My sister ordered a pizza and said it was better than the pizza she had when she was in Italy! Overall a great meal and definitely get the panna cotta for dessert. It was great and came in a cute little jar!
We visited here our first night in Munich because we wanted something non German. (We had eaten a lot of German before coming here)This place was amazing. Our waiter spoke perfect English. We didn't have reservations but they got us right in. The bread appetizer was amazing and the pizza even better. My husband got a pizza and I got the calzone. Both were exceptionally yummy
