Even after I paid he gave my credit card back to her, he got tipped accordingly...Menu not available in English.I ordered a sausage pizza and asked them to cut the pizza in slices. I don't know what the deal is in Europe, but 99% of the time they never slice a pizza before they bring it out-a knife and fork is not the best utensils to cut a pizza...ask anyone who works at a pizza place in the US. The pizza came, un-sliced of course, not much sauce...which is half the flavor of a good pizza, the sausage had a lot of gristle and they put some sort of bitter salad all over it...which i picked off for about 5 minutes. There's a patio that's nice, and it's not super expensive-2 entrees and the price was 24.10 and I put the value at 14 euro tops. There's lots better places to eat in Munich. Anybody who says this place is authentic Italian has never been to Italy, or they're friends of the owner.
This hidden gem only slightly off the beaten path transports you to Italy with a gorgeous interior, huge quiet back terrace with lamps of fire, great-tasting authentic food and a happy staff that puts you in the Italian mood (you gotta love that country). There's so much space in this place and the wait staff was so nice that I thought I was back in the US!
Authentic Italian food cooked and served by Italians. I am rather fanatic about being able to speak Italian, when dining in an Italian restaurant. Food was fantastic with huge portions. Nice wine list also.
