Not the best service, the waiter was friendly when we entered and sat down but when he heard we were only drinking tea he had an attitude towards us. Still a great venue
We celebrated my daughters bridal shower . The venue was perfect to fit the Bridgerton theme.Melissa the events coordinator was helpful . She assisted since we arrived for our fuction she helped with the setting up of gifts and flowers. Graham the manager who I refer to as “The Duke” made sure made us feel at home and welcome. The cakes and savouries were ofer enough. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Thank you to “The Duke” and staff at Casa Labia I will definitely be back . As for Michael one of the waiters you are absolutely right the scones are delicious and the best I have ever had
Amazing place to have food. The decor is beyond amazing. Definitely don’t feel like you’re in Cape Town anymore. Great views and very friendly staff. The food was delicious.
Casa labia – a stunning interior (the old Italian embassy) – it feels very grand and it’s beautiful. We went for Sunday lunch and there was a piano play which added a lovely atmosphere. I think our eyes were too big for our stomach though, we couldn’t finish our starters or desserts – the portions are very generous. Starters – we both had the parmesan brulee – what a great idea! This was divine but very rich, so next time we will share one between two of us. Mains – we had the mushroom risotto and pesto alla genovese pasta – super tasty and fresh. Desserts – chocolate brownie and flourless chocolate cake – super chocolatey and rich – I was very happy to take half of mine home and eat it later! I would order all those exact dishes again, really fantastic food and service!
