Their coffee is fantastic, and they do the most incredible teats called icessants... Croissants filled with ice cream and chocolate.<br/ <br/ Literally the only downside of this cafe is its super narrow, so it's a little cramped when it's crowded. But trust me, its worth it!
I have written about this chain before and not in positively but this branch is changing my opinion one coffee at a time. They're coffee is the best in Muizenburg undoubtedly, their service is way above and beyond. I've gone so far as to take a ridgeback into that tiny shop fitting and there was no complaints only water and compliments. All in all if they had better cookies I wouldn't be able to resist. Thankfully I'll settle for great coffee and a recommendation to anyone on the beach. (also they serve ice cream)
Very small shop but excellent hot chocolate and ice cream. Pleasant service. Cookies on the counter are amazing, need strong willpower to say no
The tiniest Bootlegger you'll ever come across! There is no seating available, so there's only a takeaway option, but it's the perfect addition to the Muizenberg strip Get a cuppa and take a stroll on the beach best best best! Also, they serve ice cream cones. I mean, who doesn't love ice cream
These wonderful little hipster coffee shops are dotted around Cape Town. I went specifically to the Muizenburg one as I heard they Have the famous icessant, which is a wonderful fresh, buttery, delicious croissant with chocolate drizzled on top with ice cream in the middle and more drizzled chocolate with a flake. It was absolutely delicious. It was all for R40. I can't wait to go back to try the coffee and other treats they have on offer. The baristas were also very friendly And I highly recommend you to go and try the icessant for yourself. I'm not sure if the other branches have it as well
