Vegan brekky now no longer comes with pumpkin and baked beans (despite being advertised as such they just piled on even MORE tomatoes. Such a shame as this place was my go to for brekky and I recommended to everyone. I also saw online someone else’s recent experience with their vegan pizza and it was appalling. Previous review Have always really enjoyed the breakfast and coffee at Swell. They often have lemon vegan cake too which is amazing. So over raw balls. My breakfast spot of choice in Perth for sure :
We ate here for dinner just before covid closing. there are no vegan meals on the menu, but if they ask, they can only modify 1 or 2 dishes and sad they need to know to preorder the house special dessert if they want vegan. a massive large pavlowa, so to plan your vegan visit.
You can make the veggie breakfast vegan and there are also a few other options I got the veggie breakfast and asked without the eggs and told them I was vegan and my bread came out with butter on it. Food was good otherwise
Not good. No vegan dinner options. Fröhlich zu Veganise a pizza, but pizza base and sauce is not an ideal pizza.
It seems that Swell listened to the community and upgraded their vegan options. They stopped removing eggs or feta, etc. from dishes and now replace them with pumpkin, beans and mushrooms. Well done, Swell. The service was great, the food was delicious, the only drawback is that the food was a looooong time to get out so ready to wait!! Updated by previous review on 2020-07-25
