The service was great, the coffee excellent and the food outstanding. I had the avocado smash on toasted Turkish bread (instead of the bagel) with bacon and sauteed herbed mushrooms. I 'm not sure what herbs are used with the mushrooms, but they really enhanced the flavour. The eggs were beautifully poached with plenty of yolky goodness! The chef is happy to substitute or modify the dish to your liking. and the 'older ' staff also make it a refreshing change from young, inexperienced teenagers. The rapport with regular customers was clearly evident. All the ingredients are there: good location, nicely presented, quaintly styled cafe, and great food, coffee and service.

Coffee and the big breakfast were delicious! Perfect start to the day. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. First meal I’ve eaten in Townsville, but I’ll definitely be back! 5 stars!

Pleasantly surprised it was pretty quiet when we ate breakfast here on a weekend. Food and drinks came out really quick, both coffees were really good and the hot coffee came in a cool cup. Food was also pretty good, no complaints. Perfect serving size, hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and enjoyed the touch of balsamic vinegar drizzle.
