The Kartoffelkönig-branch inside Riem Arcaden is a little bit hidden, look for the dm drugstore, it's located nearby. Wanted to try something new so I opted for the lasagna (they have other main dishes besides the staple kebabs, falafel sandwiches and kumpir, such as stuffed paprika or moussaka, which seemed to be sold out as I arrived quite late after 3pm). The lasagna was super nice, made with seitan crumbs, a creamy plant-based sauce and a cheese crust that reminded me of tofu sheets. I chose salad instead of rice and a hot tomato paprika sauce (and lemme warn you, it's pretty hot, coming from a south-east Asian person). A big filling and satisfying meal plus a delicious ice tea for under 11 Eur and staff was absolutely lovely as well. Updated from previous review on 2021-07-23

Salads are well marked and very flexible (I sometimes scavenge for sweet potato. .tiny bit expensive but best salate I ever had especially the dresses. I recommend the falafel tahini!

I fought for meat-free and milk-free options in coins until I found this jewel. everything is well for vegan and veggie with cheap sandwiches and salads for around €3,50, then the curries are a little more money, even under €10.
