I stayed at Hotel Monumental for two weeks and usually at the restaurant that is at the hotel. However, this restaurant is closed on Sundays so that guests must find other places to eat on these days. Beethoven was recommended to me by my employee, so I went there for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant has about 12 tables on the lower floor and a seating area on the upper floor, which probably has about 8 tables, although I did not go upstairs to see it. The interior has a modern feeling, with open beams and iron railings. The bar itself is very small, so sitting on a table is a better option. There are also some outdoor seats in this restaurant. My dinner was quite simple, I ordered what was essentially a white pizza and it was very good. My staff ordered a meat pizza and enjoyed it. The menu is quite wide and contains varieties of local foods. They also serve beer, wine and some spirits. There was a desert menu that looked good, but I didn't order anything. As I mentioned in my other reviews about San Jorge, English is not a common language in this city, so ready to be brushed in your Spanish! Google Translate is also very practical and most of the locals can read your translation when you show them your smartphone. I also believe this restaurant takes only cash Argentinian Pesos) to be so sure that some of these handy. I shared the bill with my two staff so my part of my pizza, an appetizer and a few beers came to 400 pesos, or about 25 USD. Most meals in the farms run around here, anywhere from 300 to 400 pesos, $18-25 USD), depending on what you get. I would recommend a visitor to San Jorge who stops from this restaurant to eat a bite. The staff is friendly, the interior invites you and the food is great!
