Toku Modern Asian Manhasset

I've been here two times and both times were great. I absolutely love the espresso martini's and the foos choices I've made have been good. I like the king crab tempura it's light and really tasty. I also really liked the fried rice with an egg on top it was really good. I've had a few other dishes I'm definitely coming back within the next two weeks I need my espresso fix. Service is good everyone works together I haven't had an issue if it's busy I am understanding of them not being able to come to the table right away. The ambiance is also great it's dimmed lighting and airy I would say make a reservation to avoid waiting as it can take a while or they are busy.

I went to toku for dinner and drinks with a friend. Long story short we sat down at the bar when a couple got up, after sitting at the bar for 4 minutes while this guy next to me was telling me how this was his seat and not mine. the bouncer came up to us and asked us to get up because someone was waiting longer, i didnt know thats how barstools worked. Thats the first time ive ever been told that... then after refusing to get up the bouncer told the bartender not to serve us... when we went to leave he followed us outside and acted like he did nothing wrong... this place is a joke... they lost what would have been a lifetime customer and recommender to many. I'll take my money elsewhere where they know how to treat you well.

Food uninspired served with minimum care for quality and presentation. Table and service was excellent to forgetful, depending on the moment. My chicken nuggets were tough and my cauliflower tasteless. Overall atmosphere was Toku's best feature: elegant. Also expensive.

Toku is a beautiful Asian Fusion restaurant located within the Mircle Mile in Manhasset. The restaurant is stunning, the crowd was great today, and the food and service were fantastic. We had a wonderful time at lunch and will definitely return. This is one of the nicest restaurants in Manhasset to dine at.

This restaurant was a nightmare. I’ve been a couple times and it used to be really good, however this time I almost threw up and sent my food back immediately, it was disgusting. Everyone’s food kept getting sent back as well. I wish I didn’t go because now I have a terrible stomach ache. I'm sure I caught a stomach virus from this experience. I will never go back again. I regret ever going in, it ruined my whole day.
