The Lobby - Acacia Hotel - Muntinlupa

Located at the ground floor of the hotel, The Lobby serves a la carte dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have 3 course sets at an affordable price. During this visit, I am staying in the hotel for a couple of nights and was wondering about the property, when the luminous cake display lured me in. Like any other hotel, they also have an ongoing discount (30% off) on their pastries at night. They do not have much variety as far as savories are concerned. The only ones displayed are eclairs and cream puffs. Bought a couple and tried the Chocolate Cream Puff. For 125pesos, this is big enough to be shared by two. Thickly coated with chocolate ganache all over, the puff is a bit soggy from being in the fridge for sometime. It has a generous (and i mean, generous) amount of chocolate cream inside. It is almost 90% cream and 10% pastry. The chocolate wasn't light either. It was dense and quite filling. Packaging was in an aluminum foil, but the couple of eclairs I bought was in a box, neatly placed in a sturdy paper bag with handles, brought it back to my room. Service was warm and friendly. The place was also cozy. Recommended.

Reyjohn: My overnight stay here in Acacia included a breakfast buffet here. I came here early as to really sample their offerings. Simple and adequate selection from Japanese sashimi to a live egg station for some sunny side ups. The high ceiling and glass windows let a lot of natural light brighten the place. The comfy seats and well spaced table are always appreciated. eater.ph

Had a Quick Fix by The Lobby of Acacia Hotel. Good choices for mains : fish fillet, roasted chicken and crispy pork belly. Only for php390 nett. Well-worth the money.
