Cracker Barrel - Murfreesboro

The food is excellent, and the staff is consistently attentive. I love dining here with my family, and the atmosphere is always pleasant. The only drawback is the wait time, which is often quite long. I realize this is due to the restaurant's popularity, but after being in business for years, I would expect them to have better management of the waiting situation. Currently, the ongoing pandemic has led to workforce shortages everywhere, which may also be contributing to the delays. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this location—or any Cracker Barrel, for that matter. You're unlikely to be disappointed.

I had a sudden craving for pancakes on my way to work, and this place really hit the spot! While many people rave about the atmosphere, I was all about the food. My order arrived in just 10 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to kick off my day. It worked out wonderfully for me, and I think it could do the same for you!

My husband, son, and I went out for dinner, and we had a fantastic experience. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, not just to us but also to the children at nearby tables. Her wonderful personality added to the enjoyment of our visit. The restaurant was very clean, which I greatly appreciated. I had the French toast, and it was absolutely scrumptious. My son really enjoyed the meatloaf, and my husband couldn't stop talking about the chicken dumplings. Even though it was quite busy when we arrived, the service was quick, and our food came out in a timely fashion. We will definitely be coming back!

We arrived just before closing while traveling, but the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. I ordered the catfish, and my brother got the chicken fried steak. My only complaint was that the biscuits were a bit hard, probably because of the late hour. I'm looking forward to visiting again during regular hours to give it another try!
