In my modest yet well-seasoned opinion, this is undoubtedly the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. My dog and I typically order a pizza to share. Although their dining room is still closed, you can still enjoy delivery, walk in, or take advantage of their curbside service. I don't go anywhere else for pizza; in fact, I haven't explored anything else on the menu, but I'm excited to try one of their pizza bowls soon. Stop by, enjoy a meal, and have a fantastic time!
I received a flyer from Marco's Pizza promoting their new Pepperoni Magnifico with Old World Pepperoni. Instead of trying the special, I decided to order a medium pizza featuring the Old World Pepperoni, and they were happy to accommodate me. For just $6.99, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. It had a wonderfully crispy crust with a subtle hint of Parmesan. The sauce was tasty and paired perfectly with the "signature three cheese" topping. The pepperoni was also a standout; it had a nice crispiness around the edges and delivered great flavor with a slight kick. Overall, it was an excellent pizza, and the curbside delivery was quick and efficient.
Typically this place is a 50/50 that I get what I ordered in regards to the type of crust. But, my family orders from here instead of competitors in order to drive their business up because when they are on it it?s good pizza. Well, it used to be. Last order was 2 large cheese pizzas that WERE MISSING CHEESE on the pizza. Murfreesboro and Nashville is awful and has a poor reputation for food quality and this place is now part of the problem. I called for a refund and was offered a credit for my order. I told them I am unhappy and would give them another shot. (2 large cheese pizzas) nothing breaking the bank here. Today was the day and not only was I told I have $9.99 off but there were no notations of my call. This makes NO SENSE. The pizza would have to be remade anyway if I wanted them to redo it. Or a full refund. Instead it?s not even $10. Please. Steven the GM did step in and make the pizzas after a debate but made Medium pizzas instead of Large pizzas as stated in our phone call. No sense in arguing anymore with people like this. Marcos has no business being in business in Murfreesboro. They can?t make it right, They can?t get it right and then again can?t make it right.
Never really gave Marco's a shot before today. My taste when it comes to pizza chains usually leans towards Domino's, Papa Murphy, or Papa Johns. However, the Domino's near my home doesn't show up on their app so I decided to give Marco's a try. Marco's app is a little ugly at first but it gets the job done. The rewards program could.be a bit better considering their competition. Spend $100 and you get $10 off. I'm sure they could be a little more generous with rewards. That being said, my first mobile order was 25% off so thanks for that. The pizza is pretty delicious. Almost as if Papa Johns and Pizza Hut had a baby that left the family to do its own thing. Changed his name from Papa Hut to Marco's and never looked back. The cheese can be a little much but that's probably just me. All other ingredients were fresh and delicious. I dig the semi sweet pizza sauce. Marco's lays it on a little thicker than most joints. The dough is good enough. I've never been a crust person tho. There, I said it. Mellow Mushroom has the best dough imo. RIP Murfreesboro location. Marco's sure does make a pretty looking pizza. I'll definitely give them that. Overall, Marco's is great. Not a perfect 5 but real close. I'll be back to try some more pizza combinations.
