Newk is always a favorite of us! Love her chicken salad! Wide range of sandwiches, salads, soups. Great pizzas! Amazing cakes yummy Rice Krispies Bars. Your service is always friendly fast! Newk's is very consistent with high-quality products. We visit a few times a year and every time the food is fresh and delicious. We tried Black and Bleu with Steak, Grilled Salmon Caesar, Grilled Chicken Greek and Ultimate Salat. Her Spicy Sicilian Pizza is an Italian classic with hot capicola, pepperoni and spicy salami. Brushed with red pepper flakes on a crust with house made chili oil. It was great. We also tried the Lobster Crab Bisque with blue crabs and cold water lobster meat in a tasteful seafood broth with cream and a hint of sherry. Best Lobster soup we've ever tasted! You also have an island of fortification and topings you can place on your order. It is a fun casual place to grab a fast (really delicious) meal.

Her tomato soup was delicious and I had her grilled Cheddar cheese sandwich I could fall in the soup. Restaurant was super clean.

Trip to Murfreesboro today... Good trip except it will probably be my last trip to Newk's at the Avenue. Food was great. Kids first time, they loved it. Sweet tea urns were both on the verge of soured. I told one of the young ladies working. Oh, no! I'll tell my manager. She comes back with another young lady who tastes the tea. They give me sideways dirty looks, pour them together, leave it out to serve, and brew a fresh batch (in the dirty urn). Never came and said a word to me or my table during or after. Come on, guys, train your people with some customer service oriented training! No shade thrown due to age, the whole staff was younger (just a description), which I know is the reality of food service since that's what I've done for 20+ years!
