Uncle Mikey's Pizza - MURRELLS INLET

First time going there this past weekend. They made my daughter and I feel right at home. Offering for us to try the desserts that just came out of the oven (delicious, btw) while we waited for them to finish our to go order. Throwing in plates and napkins and forks was the perfect touch. They thought of everything. Having conversations with the workers made me wish we had sat down and eaten there instead of Togo because of how friendly everyone was. Now let's get down to rhe food quality. The salads were crisp and they only use romaine lettuce. The pizza was cooked fast and hot so it gives that bottom layer of crust the hardness it needs to hold up while your eating it since the slices are so big. The quality of the dough ? is perfect. You get that initial crunch from the bottom and then it goes to chewey and toothsome. The marinara base they use has the most wonderful acidity levels and the right amount of sugar to counteract. The cheese ? was copious and delectable. The cheesecake was to die for and their flakey honey dessert filled with I'm guessing cream cheese will keep me coming back for years to come by itself.

Great food , Great Customer Service, and ice cold beer. Kids asked two come back a second time and considering they are NYC Pizza Kids that’s a good sign :

We loved our dinner at Uncle Mikey’s and enjoyed the camaraderie of the family. It’s always special when you can feel pride shining through the food and the staff checks in with you throughout the meal. The Italian baklava was incredibly tasty as well! Can’t wait to come back.

Love the family atmosphere, the food is constantly excellent and reasonable.

Pulled up at 8:55 PM they told us they were closed even though the website says they close at 10:00 PM. Drove 40 minutes to get there, before you drive out of the way think twice.
