I've generally found the people here to be quite courteous and the buns and hot dogs and donuts they have are pretty good. However, the sandwiches are just ok.
As expected hot breads did not disappoint. The breads were perfect. The place is very clean.<br/ <br/ Points to be noted:<br/ 1) the ketchup bottles placed on tables seem very dirty. This is a hygiene issue.<br/ <br/ 2) the pastries were very hard. The staff explained that due to the ban on plastic, they have stopped using those flimsy sheets around the pastries, eating to hardening. Hot breads needs to come up with a solution else stop selling hardened pastries
Sweet little place. Especially amidst chaos. The road is super jammed or has vehicles moving at jet speed so you never get an auto to stop or a cab to wait for u. And then u find donuts. What else would you want! Try their strawberry macaroons (french merengue. It's heavenly melt in the mouth stuff and only costs 59 rs. U almost feel guilty for paying so less for such qn amazing creation. The muffins are also good and so are the soft cakes. Donuts are ok and there is also a menu which I haven't tried yet am sure it has sandwiches. I did try the fries once and they wrote pretty fine. Only reason I have given 3.5 is their puffs which typically in any Chennai bakery is warm and crispy and the stuffing has a zing. But it's dill taste less and definitely not crispy here.<br/ <br/
Stopped here on my way back from a long road trip to buy some muffins, bread and butter buns. They all tasted as usual. Good stuff. So pretty much a standard experience of hot Breads. Of course, the ambiance is nothing compared to the adyar branch.
