Opposite to the hell I spent my four years in was this little paradise. Great pastries. Pasta here is a must try. If you gaze over the pastry display case you ll spot a walnut fudge and you ll know what 'love at first sight ' means
A decent place to visit. The cakes were awesome, I personally felt the eateries were a bit over priced. They did taste decent, again just decent. Good place to hang out BTW :
Had double decker vegetarian sandwich and tandoori chicken nuggets. Both the dishes tasted good. Their big size bread loaf and plum cake/ tea cake are also good.
We go there at least once a week. To buy bread of course. But that 's not the only item we 've had from this joint. I love many of their pastries. My favorite is the Almond tart. Take it home and heat it up in the microwave and combine it with a scoop full of Vanilla Ice cream and you are in heaven. Their chocolate pyramids and the carrot cakes are also good. The cost I would say has marginally increased but not as much as the other cake places. If its a cake for my son 's birthday, we go nowhere but here. Right from the time he was toddler where we ate the cake and gave him just a finger full of icing to right now, where he is the one who gets to decide whether its spider man, or Ben 10 or CARS which needs to be printed on his cake. The cakes and the filling and the flavor were excellent but I do get an Artificial taste on the color which they use on the cartoons. <br/ <br/ Coming to their savory pastries. I like the bun thing which is filled with some masala filling, the puffs and the paneer roll are all passable, somehow I dont like their puff pastry, maybe because of the use of margarine instead of butter. They 're quite heavy on your stomach. Sandwiches are well made, of course since its their own bread. I personally dont like their 'bun butter ' not their donuts. They are too thick and too heavy and quite hard to bite into. They even make us small birthday cakes at very short notice which is appreciable but the cream is too sweet sometimes. <br/ <br/ Try their pies and tarts, you wouldn 't be disappointed. If you need to have a quick bite then this is the place to go to.
