The rare appetizer was a very beautiful size with wonderfully heated triangles of Pita bread for diving. All three people in our party enjoyed their dinner choice, although we all ended jealously the person who ordered the shepherd **** we tried and found to be enormous. Like the trend in these days, some of the pages were extremely small, like the Koleslaw, which came with the very excellent perch entree. The prices were reasonable for such a beautiful place and all waiters were friendly and generally excellent. We're going to go back.
I really enjoyed having lunch here. The day we went they were very busy and short handed, but the service was still incredibly good and fast! I got the fish and chips, it was good but a little to fishy smelling and tasting then I like but still very good (love the beer batter coating)
Decided that an Irish pub would be fun on St. Patrick's day. We were so wrong. Appropriately checked for age and banded at entrance, it all went downhill from there. While it didn't seem to be too many people (most seating was taken, noone was standing and the 5 of us sat at a table right away) the wait staff was frazzled and lacking... it was only 5 pm on a sunday. I ordered a glass of chardonnay, was told they didnt have wine. Ive been here before and it is a full bar with plenty of wine, beer, and liquor options. So, I drank water. No biggy. The big issue came with my dinner. Wanting something simple, I ordered the meatloaf entree. It took a long time to get it and it was delivered on a paper plate! Weird. It tasted awful! It was way overcooked and salty with much else for flavor. There was gravy, that was worse than the meatloaf. The only thing that might have been good was the mashed potatoes, but I couldn't be sure as they were drenched in the aforementioned gravy. Oh....and the portion seemed small for $12 on a paper plate. Atmosphere.... live music was playing and they were pretty good, but so loud we couldn't talk to each other.
Stopped in for the first time on a Wednesday at noon for a quick lunch. It took over 40 minutes for a Reuben sandwich and fries. We were told that the cause of the delay was they were short staffed. I don't think I will be returning.
This restaurant offers excellent options for both dinner and lunch, with a wide selection of Scotch and whiskey. It’s also a lovely venue for weddings. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind. During the summer, their events are definitely worth attending!
