Lake House Water Front Grill - Muskegon

Food was very good; however the salad could have been chilled more. We had the fig crostini and the duck risotto (the day’s special). Both were delicious! Not crowded at 7:30 on a Tuesday during the fall. Nice view of the boats and harbor. So convenient as it sits next to the Shoreline Inn, which is a favorite hotel of mine.

Very slow service and servers were rarely around to ask for additional needs during the meal. Food was mediocre and not worth the price. Ambiance was great. Right on waters edge.

A beautiful evening at The Lake House with excellent, attentive service. The presentation of the entrees was the best we have seen in a long time and the quality of the food was wonderful. The duck and risotto entree was recommended by our server and it lived up to the expectations. All in all, our table of 4 thought it was a perfect evening including a sunset that was a real treat also.

Ate inside due to weather so ambiance rated reflects that. Waiter was great. High energy and attentive

Superb gumbo--a real find this far north! The ribs were properly seasoned and plentiful. The bottle of wine I originally ordered was not in stock. My sister-in-law enjoyed the celebratory flaming dessert. Even the sunset was beautiful. We shall return.
