Auberge D'illwald - Mussig

We stayed two nights at the Hotel L 'Illwald in a standard room, very well decorated and very Cosy it must be a feast in winter with a view of the park very well maintained and the pool. We had available a Nespresso coffee maker, as well as some capsules. The room was impeccablely clean, the modern bathroom and pleasant the tap system is not obvious to take control. The head of the hotel is very friendly and not avare of advice. Heartburn for the two lovely hotel dogs. I would like to congratulate the chef, the dishes are very good and of very good quality. I'd remember my whole life from Ireland a delight!! I would add that breakfast is hearty and very good for the pastries!!! , finally the staff is very nice, speaks at least 3 French, German and English languages and is very devoted. Some flats: - Above the bed, there was a painting that descended far too low and thus served as a bedhead. Which is not pleasant for the painting or for our heads. - Television is a little low, which makes that when we are lying on the bed, the person between the TV and the other person, hides the screen. What's a bundle! - We were never able to operate the air conditioning, yet in service according to the staff. -The mini-mini- Frigo whose door can only be opened with the keys of the entrance door and in which, according to the rules of procedure, it is forbidden to store its own drinks!???

A beautiful setting and a great meal! We went there for the baptism of my son, we were installed in the veranda with the park behind. It was really nice. The dishes and especially the desserts were succulent and the very reasonable prices. Also there was a great choice of wine. A great address, we'll go back!

Excellent experience at the Illwald restaurant. The staff is very pleasant and the dishes served are excellent and refined.

Excellent hotel, with very friendly service, the restaurant is also excellent. the idyllic location in the green is wonderful.

Excellent meals and pleasant staff. but the waiting time was too long (20min waiting only to order the 30min aperitif between each meal)
