There are many local options to try such as Chiang Mai style jackfruit curry, nam prik ong (tomato and tofu relish), and winged bean salad. The brown rice with toppings is priced at a great value. It may be a little small for someone with a big appetite. I am sad to hear about the experience of the previous reviewer. I have found many dishes with little or no fake meat, and it is definitely not greasy in my opinion.
I went to this restaurant for a large lunch and started with some snacks, including sausage, deep-fried beans, and prepacked steamed dumplings that reminded me of siu mai. Everything seemed to be made with soy protein and was cold, but still tasty. My favorite was the dumplings, although the deep-fried item was very oily and now I feel like I might have a heart attack, but it was delicious! I then tried two Bain-Marie options without rice, which were also cold and not very impressive. If you enjoy fake meat, this place has a variety of options. Unfortunately, I have to disagree with some previous reviewers about the food being healthy and low in oil, as my plate was swimming in oil. Perhaps it was just the dishes I chose (ginger bread and glass noodles), but I suspect others are similar. If you're in the mood for hot noodle soup, this place might be worth a try!
I have never had such amazing vegan food at such a reasonable price before!
The restaurant is a Thai vegan restaurant (prepared eating displayed in bain marie) that sold cleap, delicious vegan foods and organic packed were ... I had choices of rice and food that were really nice ... the resturant is at a corner of a lively street, but there are many insides away from street noise. his a cool and clean restoration with friendly staff who speak basic English
If you've got a bike or scooter, it takes minutes or so from the north-central gate. I almost missed the sign. Keep your eyes up. Went at so the lunch stuff wasn't as fresh as it could've been. That said, really delicious, nutritious stuff. Cheap (local) prices too. I forget what exactly I had because we just pointed at stuff and shared our plates. About per person. TONS of vegan snacks, etc. The chlorophyl juice tasted seriously healthy.
