Nice hotel near the tower. Spotlessly clean with excellent service and a very good breakfast. I will definitely recommend it Rooms: Large single room. With a large double bed. Modern TV but above all spotlessly clean. Food drinks: The breakfast contained everything you asked for. Really, even for the off season, it was very good. We eat at Zorbas at least once every time we are in Myrtia. I was here for the first time as a child over 30 years ago. There was still “The landlord speaks German” written on the stone wall in front of the restaurant. This year we also went there for dinner on our first evening (my birthday) in Greece. We were served politely and the food was a little more expensive than before, but quite good. We also got dessert, but when we saw the bill we felt a little strange. I'm sure they thought we couldn't read Greek! First was the bread or the tablecloth or both? written on the invoice. Okay, we know that from Italy. But then something appeared at the bottom of the bill that we hadn't ordered and couldn't decipher. I asked the waitress about it and she reacted a bit nervously and disappeared with the “receipt”. After a while she came back to our table and apologized because the waiter at the back had accidentally added a beer to our bill. The €3 on the bill was NEVER called beer!!! We later asked our Greek friend and he didn't know what they charged us there either. Simply adding €3 more to the bill and ripping off guests is not the hospitable way we are used to in Greece.
