Anthony and Angela have the best pizza in the Grand Strand and surrounding areas! Their oven is coal fired and their dough is top notch. The final product is delicious food that tastes like someone cares more about quality than quantity. Their service is incredible and leave me feel taken care of. I’m a New Haven-style pizza snob and their pies fit in with Pepe’s, Sally’s, Modern or any other of Connecticut’s best. Try them and you won’t be disappointed!
Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers packed with Prosciutto. To die! The rest of the food was also delicious. We had pizza, wings, steaks cheese hero, caesar salad and a grilled pepperoni and cheese sandwich. Everything came in large quantities, so hungry, we took about half of it home. Delicious food, place was clean, and the waiting staff was wonderful.
Friendly service, the food came out quickly, and the quality of the pizza blew me a little. Definitely recommend.
First off, 5 stars for the pizza. The taste was definitely what I was hoping for. Fully flavored, generous with the ingredients, nicely baked, the crust was consistently crispy and slightly carburized for this unique fire oven coal taste. It was super refreshing to see the use of the oven. The total 4 star rating was a combination of other things. My expectations and experiences have been somewhat blessed since they screwed up my order. Honest mistake, but it comes to what I expected vs what I got. We only got half mushrooms that were not the end of the world, but they added Calamatta olives all over the cake that my wife hates. I'm a little confident if we wanted to wait for them to make us a new one, but because waiting was a little long, we decided to work with it. They already read my 5-star review of pizza from my experience, but the olives had overwhelming taste for my wife. Even if my wife pulled them out, the natural salt content of the olives remained. It just turned it off for them, which naturally made me feel helpless, as it was their birthday and they 't enjoy it full. Nevertheless, we remained full and satisfied. The owner/cook was more than accommodating and I could say was concerned. He did immediately and offered us what he could do for it. Not a deal killer, but they can do it the next time we go by. But the pizza is legit. Advice, order an appetizer while waiting for the pizza. The waiting time is a bit long, but respect the furnace process!
