Nacho Hippo - Myrtle Beach

I ordered the Hungry Hippo nacho plate for two, and it was plenty enough for us both. They were kind enough to make us spicy margaritas too. Everything flavor/ingredients wise was great! My only suggestions would be to order the nachos with queso on the side. They dump it all over and all your chips end up getting soggy quickly. You 're dealing with a topping mush after 5 minutes. Also, I enjoyed the spicy marg but hoped they could strain the fresh jalapenos out. I optimistically fished them out to put on my nachos since they typically serve it with pickled jalapenos. I 'm not sure why, fresh should be the standard. Made the best of everything though. Everything from flavor to atmosphere was worth it, just a couple presentation flaws.

Had a local beer on draft early in the am. Great start on Vacation!!!!

I had a wonderful salad of mixed greens, grilled chicken, black olives, tortilla strips, corn and black beans. I think avocado ranch dressing. DELICIOUS

It's an airport restaurant... The food is fine and expensive but the drinks are on point

Watch your receipt.... I had a martini, and he charged me for an extra shot, and I definitely didn't ask for that and it was very weak to be two shots. Even the guy next to me was saying how weak his drink was. It could have been a mistake, so it's just a heads up. Service was good otherwise.
