Tiara, the lovely lady behind the counter, helped me through the menu since it was my first time there. She recommended the combination plate, and I'm so glad she did. I was going to take my dinner to go, but the ambiance was so friendly, I decided to stay and eat there. The combination plate had grilled shrimp, steak, and chicken with fajita style peppers and onions, freshly made pico, lettuce, refried beans, and rice. It was served with homemade warm corn tortillas. She brought me some homemade sauces also. So good. I also had to get a beef barbacoa street taco because of all the yelpers raving about them. They were all correct. Get one. No, get two. They are absolutely the best barbacoa tacos I've ever had. My next trip will include a shrimp cocktail. I saw Tiara carry one to the next table over, so I took a picture of it to post. I will be visiting this fantastic restaurant every time I'm in town.
Authentic good food. Good price. Waitress need better mood.
Based on my one experience: timely service, solid pupusas, and good tacos. This place gets the job done. Would absolutely
This is a hole in the wall place with just a few tables, seating is ok but probably best for takeout. That said... man oh man was it good! Friendly service, good prices and quick to get your order out. I got a tostada with barbacoa I am figuring out the barbacoa shredded beef I get in KY is not what is typically used in authentic Mexican dishes. Something a little greasy/gamey I'm not used to but others find delicious, sorta like lamb for me. Still, this dish was overall delicious and fresh! Also got one street taco with asada also delicious! The salsas are both properly spicy and flavorful, none of that weak Americanized stuff!
Visited from out of town and came across the restaurant, very nice workers, food was delicious!! I recommend the pupusas to try. Will come again when I visit!!
